Boss Types are discussed in Game Tips - Boss Fights.
Towns
All players start in Lakeview. The tutorial will guide you how to explore and will cover all the towns. After the post-game, you can revisit Lakeview again and the previous level area will now be level 51. Old areas will be updated according to your level. You can now also fight the Town Leaders, except Chief Leana.
In addition to that, the previous bosses of each town will now appear randomly as possessed bosses (PB), which is a demonic version of the original boss you fought during the story. PB can be encountered starting in the new marsh area. If you die during a PB fight you have to go look for it and fight its full HP again. Sheriff Graham gives you a quest that requires you to kill 10 PBs (any is fine except the one in the Monster Arena).
Demon Gates - accessible at level 51, after reaching post game.
Gates are opened with keys and orbs that you find in puzzle boxes and MBs. Key mobs are level 56, orb mobs are level 60. Fire boss is Ubepyromuth, Ice boss is Lysiana, and Thunder boss is Thunderas. The top 5 who deals the most damage will get a random demon equipment. You can get a free Demon Wings (premium ally) after you open your first orb gate and the boss is killed.
Alien Portal - accessible at level 56.
Portal mobs start at level 57 and “level” up as you level up (max at level 65). The boss is Nahazir. This is an area with 24h time limit, and you have to defeat the mobs AND the boss within 15 mins to get the highest possible enhancement on the item reward (+7 enhances). The longer it takes the lower the number will be. You can either open a portal with coins, or by using the demon ring. You can only use the ring once a day and it takes away 2 con from you. Buying your con back is cheaper than offering 2.5B coins only until level 75.
Alien Invasion (AI) - accessible at level 56.
Go to World Map and you will see that each town has “fight” and “stat” beside it. When you “defend” an invasion, you will fight 1-3 aliens two levels higher than you, then you will face the Mother Ship (MS). Don’t panic because you only need to deal as much damage as possible as it will use omega beam with a fixed damage of 250K(!) on the 11th round. It is impossible to face MS twice in a row. The MS dies on its own, its HP bar is not actually the damage dealt by players, but its time limit (6 days). To see how much time left on AI go to World Map, lower right corner (Invasion: Ends in: x days xx hrs xx mins).
Arena - accessible at level 4.
It is the button at the upper right corner of every town. There will be a list of players available to fight, and their level ranges from 1 level below to 1 level above yours. Each fight costs 2 energy. Colored names means that person is a member of a guild that is either hostile or friendly. Go to the Guild tab and click Diplomacy to see what the colors mean and which guilds have a relation with yours.
Monster Arena (MA) - accessible after you beat the game.
It is located in Lakeview and you need an Arena Pass to proceed. There are ten monsters, one for each round. You immediately receive your reward after every fight.
Mystic Mines - accessible at level 61.
It is located in Mount Killjoy. Random encounters (GoD, puzzle box, etc.) are available in the mines. When a Mine is opened, you will see a “rage” bar. Rage is required to summon the boss of the area by clearing the mobs (1 mob = 0.25% rage). You need to deal 10% damage of the boss’ HP to cap, and be on the top five if you want an item from it.
Isendel - accessible at level 66.
It costs 2B coins and 10 energy to go there, but it is recommended that you find or buy your crystal ring first, as it only costs 5 energy to Summon Ship (you can get it from a mystery box when you reach level 66). The ally Gabriella has a permanent Isendel pass, if you buy her. There are also random encounters in Isendel. It has four main areas that need raging to get to the boss (1 mob = 0.25% rage).
Hell Gate - accessible at level 81 up to 94 only.
You need to deal 10% damage to Queen Haderon to gain access to “Hell Gate” Area. 1 mob = 1% rage. Fallen appears at 100% rage. Each fight with the boss lowers the rage by 10%. Once it reaches 0% you must once again battle 100 mobs. Everyone will be forced out of Hell Gate when the boss is defeated and must wait for 3 hours to open again. Players will need to defeat Queen again to be granted access after Hell Gate reopens. Player cap is 100m min, 500m max.
Mystic Hall - accessible at level 71.
The objective is for a guild to build a mystic and defend it. A mystic is made up of 100 stones, which we can get from killing Mines, Isendel, and Hell bosses. Mystic War (MW) will begin once all 7 mystics are up, and will end when all are destroyed.
Gwyne, Neocorn King, Crystal Lord, Elderonoak, Queen Haderon = 1 stone
Hector = 2 stones
Lolith = 3 stones
Hell (area 1) = 4 stones
Hell (area 2) = 5 stones
Hell (area 3) = 6 stones
Faction War (FW) - accessible at level 73.
Faction War shares the same area as the Alien Portal. The GM/GOs must first choose a side before members can rage. 1 mob = 1% rage. The fortress appears at 100% rage. Each fight with the boss lowers the rage by 10%. Once it reaches 0% you must once again battle 100 mobs. The boss battle is a guild effort and it has a 1-hit KO attack. The ultimate goal is to defeat the other team by killing the boss more times . FW lasts for 4 days. To see how much time left on FW go to Faction/Alien Portal, lower right corner (War: Ends in: x days xx hrs xx mins).
Atlantis - accessible at level 88.
Go to Oceana town and pay 10B per boss to enter Atlantis. 1 mob = 1% rage. Poseidon appears at 100% rage. Each fight with the boss lowers the rage by 10%. Once it reaches 0% you must once again battle 100 mobs. Everyone will be forced out of Atlantis when the boss is defeated and must wait for 3 hours to open again. Player cap is 100m min, 1B max.
Hell - area 1 is accessible at level 92, area 2 at level 96, area 3 at level 100.
Hell is located in Isendel, beside Hell Gates. Each Hell in area 1 costs 12B to open, area 2 costs 24B, and area 3 costs 36B. For each area, the boss must be killed before a new Hell can be opened. Raging is the same as the mines.
